Caffeine with everything in Google’s brand new search engine

We wrote about Google Caffeine, the new, improved search engine Google was trialing back when it first came out. Caffeine, as you might recall, was the first major search engine core code tweak for Google since 2006 and it was direct response to the Microsoft announcement that Bing would power Yahoo! search engine queries.
Well, it’s been a few months now since all that started and Google, in what is record time for a company which has yet to put in place a coherent strategy for taking products out of Beta testing (Chrome is still in Beta at the time of writing after more than a year since its release) has announced that it’s now ready to go Alpha.

The new search engine code will go seamlessly under the hood (nothing will change on the surface of the minimalist Google Search) and start appearing in data centers across the world beginning from Down Under (a longtime Google policy).

Google promises no major upsets in organic search engine results but if any of its previous tweaks are anything to go by expect unexpected see-sawing of all organic search engine page (SERPs) listings as the new code begins to take effect and webmasters everywhere scramble to compensate. Google’s Caffeine will, in all likelihood, produce the need for something much stronger amongst webmasters and search engine optimization engineers.
